"Coimbra's own Assafrão has emerged from the pandemic haze and his first release on Quântica with "Rokovoj Bereg" - an EP immersed in nostalgia: for the dancefloors while in isolation, for simpler times, reflected in the use of Metal Gear Solid 3 samples and even a wink at it in the title, nostalgia for the lightness of hugging your friends and hanging out without paranoia - things that seemed almost intangible for those two years.
This EP explores various exciting takes on dancefloor-aiming sonics for without ever losing its dreamlike qualities, whether it's a frenetic jungle variation, rich, crisp electro or wistful deep house.
This ethereal journey continues by the hands of DJ No New News signature techno remix of Deeep Cuts and the Coletivo Lenha producers 420@ôa and Vicecity with their trance take on MGS."
