As the myth of foundation goes, Europa, daughter of Phoenix, was picking flowers as she saw a beautiful white bull, unaware it was Zeus disguised to trick her, and she climbed on his back. The bull jumped into the sea, swimming all the way to Crete and, as Zeus regained his human form, made love to Europa under an evergreen tree.
With a continent founded on the basis of abduction and rape, no wonder this is a land soaked in blood, plagued by territorial wars, racism, police states, general violence and particularly violence against women. This is our Europa.
